The TP-Link M7005 connects to mobile networks via a nano SIM card inserted into the side slot. It supports FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE networks with download speeds of up to 150 Mb/s and upload speeds of up to 50 Mb/s. Fallback connectivity is provided through HSPA+/HSPA/WCDMA network support.
Wireless connectivity is handled by the 2.4 GHz band with a maximum speed of 287 Mb/s under the Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) standard. The integrated battery with a capacity of 2,400 mAh provides up to 12 hours of operation without a power connection. The device can be managed via a web interface or the tpMiFi app for iOS and Android.
Mobile Networks and Fallback Connectivity
The M7005 supports a total of seven FDD-LTE bands (B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28) and three TDD-LTE bands (B38/B40/B41). In areas without LTE coverage, the device automatically switches to HSPA+, HSPA, or WCDMA networks on bands B1, B5, and B8.
